Embracing the fundamental principles of marketing, AMS aims to satisfy the information and communication needs of clients' through effective and timeous implementation of projects and programmes, thereby assisting clients to deliver upon their organizational or departmental mandate. Where departments' have had overlapping mandates, AMS has assisted in delivering upon the mandate of more than one organization or department simultaneously, by facilitating the implementation of interdepartmental coordination, Intergovernmental Relations (IGR) or Public Private Partnerships (PPPs).
AMS is passionate and committed to empowering people (be it citizens, consumers, departments, businesses, employees or other stakeholders) with information to create knowledge, with the ultimate objective of improving decision making, and enhancing service delivery, thereby assisting the organization or department to achieve its mandate. AMS believes that such an enhancement of service delivery (be it of government services, stakeholder services or commercial services) will result in an improvement in the quality of the lives of people (including recipients or beneficiares of services). AMS has a particular interest in improving the quality of life of those from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, and with limited or no access to resources.
Based on the marginalization of the people of Africa and the developing world, AMS is also committed to advancing the interests of Africa and the developing world, in order to create a more equitable society which minimises the large income inequalities that exist in the world today. Acknowledging the interdependence of nations in the global multilateral system, AMS believes that a strategy of South-South cooperation complemented by North-South cooperation shall further advance the development agenda, contributing to the achievement of the internationally agreed Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
